Carolyn E. Henel is a partner at Roisman Henel LLP. She represents individuals in estate planning, probate and trust administration, family business planning and charitable giving. In addition, she advises trustees, executors, and beneficiaries in the administration of decedents' estates, preparation of estate tax returns, and the administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts.
Carolyn is certified by the California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization as a specialist in estate planning, trust, and probate law. Carolyn served as the chair of the Estate Planning Committee of the Alameda County Bar Association in 2005 and 2006. She is a member of the Trusts and Estates Section of the Alameda County Bar Association, the California State Bar, and the American Bar Association. Carolyn is a member of the Professional Advisory Committee of the East Bay Community Foundation.
Each year from 2004 through 2010, Carolyn has been selected by her peers and the publishers of Law & Politics and San Francisco Magazine as one of Northern California's "Super Lawyers" and in 2007 and 2010, as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers in Northern California. She was named one of "The Top 100 Attorneys in the United States" attending to affluent families by Worth Magazine in 2006 and 2007.
